Have you heard the news? The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover recently launched in India — and trust me when I say, it is not your everyday electric motorcycle.
For starters, Ultraviolette just launched the X47 Crossover for ₹2.74 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore), and there is a deal for the first 1,000 people who rush to buy the bike for ₹2.49 lakhs. Bragging rights, anyone!
Now let’s talk about design, the X47 Crossover is serious about its “adventure” styling with a beak-style fender, an aggressive tank, and a rear tail section designed to take a trip to the end of the world. Then you have multiple color options: Laser Red, Airstrike White, Shadow Black and a limited Desert Wing edition with luggage racks and panniers. Choose your own road adventure!
And the tech is just as impressive. With UV Hypersense radar tech in the motorcycle, you can expect blind spot alerts, lane change assist and even dash cams. Whether you ride it in the city, or highway riding, you will now have a motorcycle that watches your back. You will probably also have fun with the multi-display and the ability to stream your logs.
Now let’s talk about performance – the important part. The X47 Crossover accelerates from 0-60kmph in 2.7 seconds, finishes 0-100kmph in 8.1 seconds, with a top speed of 145kmph. There are two choices for the battery (211 km riding range, or 323km). There’s the option for all-day power or a mini-adventure outside of town. And even the bike is technologically loaded. Switchable ABS, three levels of traction, nine levels of brake regen, and a colourful TFT display.
Delivery begins in October 2025, so if the idea of adventure touring with the benefits of the latest electric power is for you, maybe it’s time to clear some space in the garage.
