The latest offering from Ducati, the Multistrada V4 RS, has made its way to India, and it’s the fastest and most sporting Multistrada V4 money can buy. It is a performance motorcycle created for the road and here are the five key special elements that make it that.
1. A Race-Bred Engine
This unit does not use the standard V4 engine. Instead, it gets the largest and most powerful V4 engine ever built in a Multistrada, the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale, which you will find in Ducati’s fastest and top-level machines, the racing motorcycles. The unit produces an astonishing 180 horses of power and 118 Nm of torque and the custom Akrapovic exhaust is not only fast but also provides wonderful sound.
2. Exclusive Racing Looks
Beyond the engine, the V4 RS looks distinctly different with its signature ‘Iceberg White’ paint scheme with aggressive red racing stripes and red accents on both the calipers and wheel spokes. A single-sided swingarm offers a classic high-quality appearance and varied look than the standard Multistrada options.
3. Advanced Smart Features
Like a flagship Ducati, the V4 RS is fitted with state-of-the-art electronics. There are four dedicated ride modes (Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban) and four power modes. It is equipped with standard electronic ride aides such as traction control, wheelie control, and engine brake control. For maximum speed, there is a special “Full Power Mode” that unleashes the bike’s full, uncapped, aggressive capacity.
4. Premium Performance Hardware
The bike features a lightweight aluminum frame. To provide competitive world-class handling, the bike is fitted with high-spec Ohlins suspension, in the front and rear; both suspension units are electronically adjustable. To provide the bike with brakes that match its performance capabilities, it is fitted with large twin 330mm front discs with the latest Brembo Stylema calipers. Ducati reduced the weight further by incorporating light 17-inch forged aluminum wheels and also removing 2.5kg overall by including a titanium subframe from the new V4 RS vs the other V4’s.

With its level of performance and exclusivity, comes the price. The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is priced at Rs 38.40 lakh (ex-showroom), with its closest adversary in the high-performance adventure segment being the BMW M 1000 XR.
